Welcome to Old Albanian's Tennis Club St. Albans

The area of Cheapside Farm, between St Albans and Harpenden, was renamed “Woollams” in honour of Charles Woollam, a former mayor of the city in the nineteenth century and generous benefactor to St. Alban's. The site opened in 2002 and is considered one of the finest sporting facilities in Europe. The pavilion with its areas of canvas and wood, which won an award for its architecture, has two sports bars, beautiful verandas and extensive kitchens. Outside, we share our four state-of-the-art floodlit tennis courts with six rugby pitches and three cricket pitches. During the weeks of the season, Saracens RFC train at Woollams.
